A local family is inviting you to share your holiday plans and we will be only too happy to show the ways to make it more memorable. We offer quiet conversation, a game of chess, a shared movie in a family atmosphere or all the peace and quiet you could wish for while you enjoy a book in the kitchen or on the landing lounge.

Vila 11 accommodates international travelers since 1998; it is run by a Canadian family and it is located in Bucharest's Sector 1. Guests can book ensuite/shared bathroom private rooms or beds in dormitories. Guests can enjoy a pancake breakfast every morning and use a free WiFi connection.

Room types
All our rooms are equipped with fresh linens and towels. We have a variety of facilities: Single and double and triple suites with en suite bathrooms. There is a family suite for those traveling with the whole "gang" and we have long term rentals for those planning to stay in Bucharest for a month or more.

Location and surroundings
We are located 200 meters from the Gara de Nord railway station on a quiet side street, close to all the city attractions. The subway/underground and bus network are all easily accessible. The 780 Airport Express bus leaves from the end of our street, 75 meters away.

Convenient location near the train station so no need for a taxi. Although a bit difficult to find since it's in a small side road. Don't turn up before 8:30am as a family run hostel and they don't appreciate being woken up!
The hostal is quite ok for its price. Very good position 5 minutes walk from main train station (Gara de Nord). The owner Deborah was extremely friendly and provided nice information, although she was not always available.
so laid back it is almost unconscious, perfect for feeling at home and relaxing.Only small critisism I would have liked wifii as i needed to contact people via email, but a short trip to local internet cafe sorted that out.
The location is ideally situated, a short walk from Gara de Nord, & central Bucuresti. More like visiting family and friends, Debbie's pancake breakfast delicious, also an ideal opportunilty to meet fellow travellers
A big house near the center and the Bucarest's main trains station. For me it was a great time! You can take a shower, sleep, eat and have a breakfast! And moreover, you can easily speak and share your experience with a lot of different people! But my wife says Vila11 was quite dirty, stained bedsheet and not confortable to take a good shower and to eat in silence! So it depends of what you're looking for! If you want confort and peace, chose something else, and if you want a good backpacker'experience, it's a good place to go !! It may be a little expensive for what it is...
