Highly recommend this place!! such a beautifully kept boat. rooms are small but its only expected on a boat. Nice shower. Owners are so lovely and happy to help, very relaxed. Less than a 10 minute walk from central station and the 'main' streets of amsterdam. if i return, will definitely stay at zwaan. Nice breakfast only downside is it is only available between 9 &10. No security issues, in fact, I really do not have a bad thing to say about my stay!!!!

Clean boat cabins with toilet and shower. It's a small and can be noisy but hey-ho it's a boat!!! Nice breakfast was included. Excellent location very close to central station.

Living in Zwann boat was an amazing experience. I honestly did not expect to be so tidy, cozy, and friendly place. It is really near the central station and you can access everything you need really easy. the "captain" was really helpful, and willing to give info for anything we needed!I certainly recomment it for everyone. we were 3 girls and we felt really secure and comfortable!

Great hostel with nice rooms (for a boat). Only negative point is that you can hear everything inside the rooms... but its a boat :)

Unique experience in this hostel-boat. Rooms are small but clean as well as the bathroom (individual). The boat is really charming and the crew helpfull. They have museum cards that you can rent. Breakfast very good also, pancakes on sundays.

Good B&B for 2 or 3 days max. The room is very small, but clean.The beds are confortable. The breakfast is abundant.The "crew" is kind. The bus stop to Central Satation is far from about 300 m. The boat is dock in front "Nemo museum"

Close to the Central Station, just in front of the Nemo! The staff is very polite and friendly and its nice to sleep lulled by the slight movement of water. Of course the rooms are small but the common room is nice and full of books and games for everyone!

Very good position, positive atmoshere, cheap beer, they have some dicount cards for musemums and some atractives in Amsterdam (only 10 €..), owner is nice, good breakfast

It was the nicest experience I had in respect of hostels: very clean - with a nice terrace on the top. The personnel were the same with the owners and were very friendly always asking how we were and recommending what to visit.

The breakfast was great, one day we have received also pancakes.

Spotlessly clean. Small cosy rooms as expected. Nice breakfast but only available for one hour. No air conditioning so was extremely warm in the bedroom. Staff were very helpful.

This is by far the best establishment to stay in for an adventurous, atmospheric, and most memorable visit to the City of Amsterdam - situated right opposite to Nemo Science Museum, close to the Old Town, and next to the Bibliothek (very good and cheap restaurant with a phantastic view in the 5th floor). Congratulations to Captain Ilja for his superb service & the exquisitely renovated lobby (main room) with an inviting big red table for breakfast (incredible pancakes!) and relaxed encounters - all other guests were most likeable. ***** 5 stars (of 5 possible) for this sensational experience, thank you!!!

It was a nice stay in Amsterdam. To sleep at the "Zwaan" is a unususal but good and cheap opportunity. The breakfast especially the pannekoeken were delicious. Highly recommended.

The place is a bit difficult to find at first, but then easy to relocate. The rooms were clean (but tight for 3 people) and the staff were really friendly. There was also breakfast in the mornings, which was really a good surprise for us. In spring or summer, the deck would be a great place to drink and talk with people, but in winter it has no use. All in all, good place for the money.

Excellent hosts, very nice breakfast, nice room. From the description and Google Maps it seemed to be a good location but it turned out to be relatively far from Amsterdam's most vivid places. You still can reach almost everything by foot but I would rather recommend this hotelboat to people looking for a very calm place to stay.

Wonderful place. The placing of the boat is rather ideal, the breakfast is excellent but most of all: the hosts give the place a warm, homely, friendly and sympathetic atmosphere. Highly recommendable.

Hint: You might want a more remote stonewalled hotel if you are easily awoken by the sounds of the city and the boat.

Hotelboot Zwaan has been one of the most amazing stays I have had whilst travelling. The rooms are very clean and I slept incredibly well. The breakfasts are also very delicious and it is right next to NEMO.

More than the originality to sleep on a boat, the chef is very welcoming, and ready to help!

Rooms are clean, breakfast is nice, definitely the place to stay! :-)

I feld at home on the Zwaan. Great views from the frontdeck, especially in the evening at sunset. Lovely breakfast.

And very important I felt very safe in the dock, not far from central station and the city centre. On my next visit to Amsterdam I will most certainly go back to the Zwaan.

unfortunately some condensing water dropping onto (quite soft) bed. but very nice atmosphere on this boat at the science museum (Nemo), just 5 minutes from central station and city centre....

...I'd enjoy staying there another time.
