Room types
We offer a mixture of private rooms (single, twin and prison cells) and dorms (from 4 to 16 beds). Most private rooms and some dorms have their own bathrooms. We also offer Girls Only dorms and Girls Deluxe for even more luxury. All dorm beds are clean and cosy, featuring unique and innovative pod beds that have their own light for reading and convenient small locker for personal belongings.
Location and surroundings
Clink78 is perfectly located to explore London's rich past as well as its diverse multi-cultural present. It is served by six tube lines (Circle Line, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan Line, Northern Line, Piccadilly Line and Victoria Line). It is within walking distance from London Kings Cross, King's Cross St. Pancras and the national rail network and the EuroStar to Europe.
Services and facilities
A wide range of clean and modern facilities are available; a lively bar, self-catering kitchen, games area, lounges in original courtrooms, travel shop, a laundry. We have FREE Wi-Fi throughout the hostel. Security is very important to us - our reception is manned 24/7 by multi-lingual staff, with night security from 9pm. There is no curfew, but you need your keycard to gain access to the hostel and your room.

All in all this hostel is a nice and cheap place to stay in London. But in my opinion: The rooms are a little too small, not enough place for the luggage and in the rooms should be possibilities to place things upon, e.g. chairs. And in the whole hostel were no mirrors... perhaps because it just opened, when I was there.
It will be a lot better when kitchen and social area are added.

Due to the lay out of the building, guests in wheel chairs have a separate entrance into the hostel. This entrance is located down the left side of the building, along Great Percy street, opposite the Boris bikes. This is the second door on the side of the building. There is a small buzzer that guests need to press then a member of staff will come and help you in. In the hostel, we have an elevator which goes to all floors apart from our girl’s only section of the building. As our building was built over 200 years ago, we are unable to change the layout of the building to incorporate an elevator in this section. On the ground floor of the building we have a disabled shower and toilet, fully fitted with emergency alarms and handles. When making your booking with us, please can you get in touch with a member of staff in the reservations team so that special arrangements can be made in regards to your room allotment so we can give you the most accessible rooms and beds. | Cancellation policy | If you wish to cancel your reservation, you will need to notify us by email 48 hours in advance of your arrival date (and 7 days before the arrival dates of the 29th, 30th and 31st of December). However, if you only let us know within 2 days before your arrival, or fail to show up on the arrival date, you will be charge in full for your stay. Note that all our dorms are mixed unless a girl dorm is booked. Bookings cannot be accepted from any underage person unless they are accompanied by an adult over 18. They will be refused check-in. When booking dorm beds in dorm rooms, we cannot guarantee that you will all be staying in the same room. We suggest booking private rooms if you don't want your clients to be split.
