In it's class of 3*,not chain, accomodation, a really good hotel, clean, with helpful and nice staff. The only disadvantage I see - it is a bit far from thecentre,but for that price it is ok.The buffet breakfast could be bigger - have more items (no hot items at all).

I had many problems with this accommodation.The reception closed at midnight so I could not book in when I arrived late.The price doubled from advertised. The place had no set bed spaces and on 2 occasions found someone sleeping in my bed.

far from the city... 25 min by tram. clean rooms and not noisy if you close the window. wi-fi doesn't work in rooms but they give you an Ethernet cable for your laptop so you can use internet by wired. breakfast is really good but the staff serving you at restaurant doesn't know English so there can be a misunderstanding about the choice of meal. they would want you to pay extra because of the internet and breakfast. don't pay. if you booked breakfast included.

Everything was really good, well-organised and kind, etc. Yet, in the following fields I think the service could be even better. Our accommodation was in room J. The size is OK, the bed is absolutely comfortable. Still we felt a little embarassing that we could only enter to our room through the room of six other persons (as we booked a room for 2). Obviously now it would be difficult to solve this question but the entrance to room J in my opinion would be better dierctly from the stairs (just like one floor above). It would be better also to reach the bathroom not through the room of others. The other problem comes from the lichthof: the constant service of the nearby restaurant results a not really comfortable smell out there. The problem appears when you open the window and as the room is not so giant the airing is inevitable after a certain amount of time.. Despite all the above mentioned stuffs we really enjoyed our stay there and we will recommend the hostel those who are planning to visit Brno. All the best: Zoltan and Susanna

I was wondering all the time if that was an hostel! I only saw more two persons there, the common area is good and open air, but I'm not sure if that belongs to the hostel. Seems more like an bar/pub renting rooms in the building next to it. About the staff, I didn't think they were very helpful.
