You’ll be treated like royalty at the Astor Kensington – a friendly welcome 24 hours a day and no pesky curfew to get in the way of enjoying all the amazing pubs and clubs in super-cool South Kensington. Our staff are experts on going out and getting’ down so don’t forget to ask for all their hot tips!

A delicious, FREE breakfast is provided every morning to get your day off to a great start and you won’t have to spend your cash in expensive restaurants as we have a lovely self-catering kitchen available. There is a large supermarket five minutes away and more buses running past than you can poke a stick at. Our nearest tube stop is Gloucester Road, but South Kensington and Earl’s Court are both within walking distance.

But wait! The best is yet to come! The Astor Kensington’s location is AMAZING! You’re a short walk from three of the best museums in the world – the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum, the V & A. The Royal Albert Hall is just up the road and let’s not forget beautiful Hyde Park, and the majestic Kensington Palace. If you’re less of a museum person and more of a shopper, then you’ll be in paradise at the Astor Kensington. Harrods – the greatest department store in the world – is a fifteen minute walk away through über trendy South Kensington. This is where London’s hottest young things come for a bit of retail therapy – keep an eye out for Jude Law, Sienna Miller, Kate Moss and Keira Knightly, who all live in the area. And don’t forget the royal Princes, William and Harry, who frequent the clubs in the area almost every weekend.

You can spend days wondering through the gorgeous boutique stores, trendy cafes and small, independent art galleries, and when you feel like a change of scenery, all the sights and sounds of central London are a mere tube ride away (or you can walk, via Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey and Big Ben).

While you’re out, we make sure your belongings are safe and secure, with CCTV and a key card access system. There is also a safety deposit box in reception for your valuables. Photo ID is required at check-in and please note that we only accept guests between the ages of 18-35, as we are a youth and backpacker’s hostel.

This is a small, cosy hostel with just over 100 beds – a great place to make friends and create amazing memories of your stay in London. We’ll bend over backwards to make sure you have a great time. So prepare to live like a king – book your bed at the Astor Kensington today!

• Our hostel caters to guests between the ages of 18 – 35 yrs old.

• Check-in starts at 2.00pm and rough night or not, check-out is at 10.00 am! If you need it, we have a luggage room where you are welcome to leave your luggage outside of these times.

• Reception is 24 hours.

• If you wish to cancel or amend your booking you must do so at least 24 hours prior to your original arrival date.
