IMPORTANT: cancellation total or partial has to be mailed at least 48 hours before the arrival day. Cancellations after this limit will be considered no show and the total amount of staying will be charged.

We only accept cancellations by email.

OPENING TIME:

The Hostel is open from 7 am to 10 am then close till 4pm, then open from 4 pm till 12 pm :curfew time, silence time it is not possible to enter later.

CHECK-IN AFTER 4PM.

PLEASE NOTE: if you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of €3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays.

It's possible to hire towels.

COMO located at 3 km from the Switzerland border, at 40 km from Milan with its International airports, is the ideal place for a wonderful holiday hard to forget.

Como will become you with its beautiful lake and its artistic and architectural beauties.

You will have trips by boat among villas and characteristic villages, especially Bellagio, called the 'pearl of the lake'.

This lovely city is also famous because Volta, the most important physicist who invented the electric torch, born here and for Terragni's and Sant' Elia's works, both rationalist architects.

Downtown you can buy the famous Como's silk at good price and visit the interesting silk museum.

Finally with the cable-car you can enjoy magnificent views on the Alps and hiking on the 'Monti Lariani'.

The list of activities here is so long that there's no chance of being bored in Como, the commercial crossroads between Europe and Italy. There's also a bit of folklore that takes place each September when the evocative Medieval Palio is held.
