We are situated in the beautiful heartland of Chianti, home of all that famous red wine that you either drink or have heard about. The village is about 30 minutes from the centre of Florence or alternatively you can catch the local train or Eurostar from Florence (1/4hr) or stop at Figline Valdarno on the way to Florence from Rome. PLUS is an ideal stopover for backpackers, cyclists, walkers, individuals, groups and those that enjoy the great outdoors. Camping Village Norcenni is part of the PLUS chain of camping villages located in Rome, Venice, Florence and Sorrento. During season, from 12 March until 31 October, we arrange a free pick-up at 6,40pm from the Figline train station upon arrival. Take the 6,09pm train from Florence towards Foligno and get off in Figline, the 2nd stop. From Rome, take the 3,14pm train, from Arezzo 5,50pm, which arrives in Figline at 6,27pm. The shuttle bus will leave just outside the bar (across the Metropolis building).

Every morning and every afternoon, there is one free shuttle to bring you to and from the station.

Should you arrive later please call us so we can either pick you up ourselves, or call you a taxi.

By car it takes ½ hour getting into Florence depending on traffic. By Train the fast train takes ½ hour. By local train one hour as this train stops in all stations.

If you book non en suite accommodation, you are booking a bed in pretty two person house tents which are equipped with very comfortable beds. Blankets and pillows are included in the price. Bed linen and towels can be hired at reception.

Please note that check-in time from 1 November till 12 March is only until 7.00pm! After that you can not check in until 8.00am the next morning.
