Hotel Residencial Universal is a small Budget Hotel located in the heart of the city of Oporto, with a multilingual welcoming and helpful reception.

In a privileged location Hotel Residencial Universal enjoys easy access to all parts of the city, on foot, by bus and by metro. The railway station is just 2 minutes away on foot and the airport 20/30 minutes away on public transports. There's an airport shuttle available for 6€ per person, from 4.30 to 19.30h, please contact the hotel until 48hours before arrival for booking.

The Hotel offers small but very comfortable rooms all with private bathrooms with hair dryer, air-conditioning, heating, satellite TV and direct dial telephone. Basic and standard rooms have internal view, and panoramic rooms overlook the street (available on request- fees apply). Breakfast is available for a taxe: includes bread, croissants, yogurts, cheese, ham, hot drinks (coffee, tea, milk) and orange juice.

Internet (hotel computer or wireless) is an extra service for 3€/day.

There’s a high staircase from ground floor till reception; afterwards there's lift. For handicap or elderly people there’s and elevator platform available; suitcases won’t be allowed on the platform. It’s advisable to inform: if there’s someone in the group who needs help coming up the stairs.

We accept pets on the hotel with no extra charge, but only in standard and panoramic rooms. Pets won’t be allowed on basic rooms.
