The Topiło Boarding House is located in the converted and refurbished former Hunters' Lodge built in the 1950's. Today, it offers modern and spacious rooms that foster the atmosphere of surrounding nature for all those who value high standard and intimacy. Modern fittings and furnishings as well as guest rooms and catering base will guarantee a good time in a lap of luxury and in the bosom of nature :)

Our Boarding House is located on the outskirts of the settlement of Topiło in the very heart of the Bialowieża Forest, 20 km south of Hajnówka and 18 km west of Białowieża. Former settlement of forestry workers, Topiło owns its name to a water body on the river of Perebel where wood was kept in winter as early as the interwar period. Today, the slightly brownish colour of water is all that remains of the history of this beautiful place. Its rather large area, abundance of fowl and location make it similar to a natural lake. Clean waters abound in fish and as large as 15-cm-long bivalves. In the middle of the lake there is a causeway with a narrow-gauge railway track. The narrow-gauge railway, started up by the Germans during World War I to transport wood, now is one of the greatest tourist attractions of the region. The end of the line is located by the lake, where the visitors will find tables, picnic shelters, bonfire sites and beauty spots we prepared in advance. Also, there are tourist trails and bicycle lanes along the lake shore as well as in the forest, with boards providing information about plants and animals the Białowieża Forest is the home of. By all means, Topiło is the most beautiful spot of the Forest.
