The Relais Stibbert is situated in a very nice location, near the city

center, near the Fortezza da Basso Castle (fair, congress and exhibition

area) and also 15 minutes walking distance from the main station Santa Maria

Novella and 20 minutes walking from the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio and the

Museums; 100 metres far from the bus stop to reach all the Florence's and

surroundingds points of interests.

In front of the Hotel the beautiful historical Museum 'Stibbert' with his

wide park and gardens, lovely place to enjoy arts and nature and relax

your-self or study for your italian course.

All The hotel's SUPERIOR rooms are confortable, quiet and elegant, refined

in their colours and furniture, and they are equipped with all the comforts

and amenities of a four stars hotel standard.

All the rooms have a large private bathroom, flat screen TV LCD, air

conditioning and heating, FREE highspeed wireless internet connection in the

amenities for our guests.

Family rooms also available. Public parkings available around the hotel.

There are many public car parks all around the Relais, at the cost of 1,00 €/h

from 8 am till 8 pm. Also a garage is available (150 metres walking distance) at the daily special rate of euro 15,00 (instead of euro 24,00 as everywhere else in Florence).

A tasty american buffet breakfast (included in the room rate) is served

every morning in our breakfast room with a lot of homemade typical products.

CITY TAX:

According to the City Council resolution n. 230/33 of 06/20/2011, from July 1st the City of Florence will introduce the tourism tax, applied to non-residents overnight staying, for a maximum of 10 consecutive nights.

The tourism tax rate is Euro _2,00______ per night, per person, and it is not applied to:

children (up to 10 years old);

people, who provide assistance to patients in hospital, max one each patient

people/family, who provide assistance to underage patients in hospital, max two each patient.

BREAKFAST:

Breakfast is served in a local café or bakery. You can taste the typical Italian breakfast with “Cappuccino” or other hot drinks and delicious pastries.

Gluten-free and kosher meals are available on request and at a small additional cost.

Check-in

14:00 - 17:00 hours

Keys can be collected from 10:00 onwards and you can leave your bags in the storage area until 14:00 when rooms are ready.

Please advise in advance if you planning on arriving later than 16:00 or the booking will be considered a no-show, charging the total amount and the room will become available again for other guests.

Check-out

08:30 - 10:30 hours

Late check-out is possible on request with extra supplement.

Child policy:

Free! One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.

Free! One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.

One older child or adult is charged EUR 30 per night and person in an extra bed.

Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

PETS:

Pets allowed with the supplement of 25,00 euro per day.

(For group reservations the terms have to be fixed with the Management. )

PLEASE NOTE:The direction will check the credit card used for the booking as guarantee measure and could charge upon reservation the first night stay or also the total amount. Should the transaction fail the booking will be considered automatically cancelled.

All the 'special offers' as long stay, early booking, midweek deals, lastminute and so on are considered as non refundable.

Cancellation Policy:

-for cancellations done after 15 days prior to arrival, the reservations are subject to the charge of the fist night.

- From 7 to 3 days upon arrival, a 50% of the total amount will be charged as penalty in case of cancellation.

-48 hours before arrival or in case of no show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.

-no shows as well as the charge of the total amount of the reservation the hotel will not guarantee the booking for the remaining nights

- beforehand departures the management will reserve the right to charge at least 50% of stay or even the total amount in case of long stay bookings or special offers and events
