Downtown Backpackers Hostel Venice is a great choice if you're looking for a cheap accomodation in the center of Venice.

The Downtown Backpackers Hostel is located in the heart of the historic center of Venice, in the Madonna dell'Orto area, with a view on this wonderful church. This is a great neighborhood, quiet and at the same time really lively and amazing. Here you can taste the real venetian life: you're close to the 'Fondamenta degli Ormesini', the best place to live the nightlife in Venice, with many famous traditional and ethnic restaurants. During all the year there's a lot of live music concerts and cultural happening (for example at the famous restaurant 'Al Paradiso Perduto').

You will also be close to the Jewish Ghetto, a must to visit area.

Last but not least you are close to the main railway station, the bus station and you will have a couple of boat stop close to the hostel. So you can reach every sightseeing area in few minutes.
