Beskrivelse: The Hostal Las Flores is a cosy family-run hostel located right on Las Ramblas in the heart of Barcelona, Spain close to all the most interesting parts of the city, including the beautiful and historical Gothic Quarter,the Plaza de Catalunya, the Picasso museum and the lively Raval area. Las Ramblas is a 24 hour attraction, bustling with people and activity at practically every hour of the day or night.

It is full of fun and interesting street performers, stands full of exotic birds, colourful flower merchants and street artists. You’ll be where the action is, with nearly every attraction accessible by foot. Up near the top of Las Ramblas, the Virreina Gallery has interesting rotating exhibitions. Further down you reach the Boqueria fresh food market, which is a highlight of the city, full of bars where you can sample some of the freshest seafood around. Further down you will reach Calle Portaferfissa, which is packed with shopping. Further still you have the lovely Plaza del Pi, with its graceful gothic Church, Santa Maria del Pi, which you can gaze upon from a outdoor patio bar as you have your morning café con leche. The majestic Liceu Opera house is further down, which was rebuilt after burning down in the mid 90s. At the end of Las Ramblas is the Maritime Museum, housed in a beautiful XII century shipyard which will soon be included on the UNESCO historical sites. Also close is the stunning gothic Cathedral, history as evidenced in the Roman walls, the whimsical Palau de la Musica, Port Vell (the Old Port) and, let’s not forget, the Mediterranean beaches. This quaint 1 star hostel is an economical choice, with 22 rooms on 4 floors. Almost all have access to a shared bathroom, except one double room which includes a private en suite bathroom and has a view of Las Ramblas. The interior rooms have all have a washing basin right in the room. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well maintained by the friendly owners. The shared bathroom, 1 per floor, are equally clean. 24 hour reception is at your service. You’ll make the most of Barcelona, and for a great value in the lively centre.
