We did it. Besides all the pressure for transforming this state of the art 18th Century Building into a luxury boutique Hostel, we kept our goal to open the Palace Lisbon Hostel in June 2010.

Ideally located at the boundary of Bairro Alto, we can provide astonishing views over Avenida da Liberdade, Baixa and the Tagus River. The sun raise at the back of Saint Jorge Castle will give you the perfect picture from our balconies. Need fresh air? Relax in our Zen garden (more than 500sqm), or simply listen to the birds that live in our centenary tree. Just check our Photos!

As we are in the central part of Lisbon, we have a good transport network, reaching the bus from the Airport (every 20m), the metro station, and the Train to Sintra under 150 meters. You won’t believe how good the location is. Lisbon isn’t very big, but it’s a steep climb everywhere. That’s why we use the typical yellow trams, and lucky you, the famous Gloria’s elevator is just 50 meters away.

If you need indoor space, our Bar, TV room, Internet corner or Chillout Lounge will give you plenty of choice. Feel involved in the building, the 4 meters tall ceilings, the handmade doors, the old fashion worked walls or the hand painted tiles will let you breathe old times grandness. Decorated by young Portuguese Artists, our aim is to provide trendy comfort with culture embracement.

Super clean facilities will be our battle every day. Good breakfast, Mega fast free internet and high pressure showers are guaranteed.

Our big PROBLEM will be that you won’t want to leave the Palace Hostel. But we will make our best efforts to oblige you.
