You can take organized classes at the hostel that teach you about the sea so that you will better understand the complex world of the ocean depths. There are also trips to the nearby National Underwater Park. Outdoors types will love the trips to the Giant Cave. Of course, there's also Trieste to explore, a small but noble European capital.
