Collelongo is situated in a beautiful and unpolluted environment but it also offers the opportunity to visit very ancient archaeological sites from old stone age (400.000 years ago) to the time of Marsi (V-III Century b.C.), a folk of mercenary soldiers allied of Rome. In Collelongo you can also spend your free time in a very intersting way participating in the events and meetings organized by the Municipality , particularly in Palazzo Botticelli where there are also the rich Town Library and the Archaeological Civic Museum. The latter also stretches along the streets of the city. Furthermore in Collelongo there is a modern Sport Center with go-kart ring, swimming-pool, gym and tennis courts.
