Located in the heart of Valencia city centre, in an important street close to the Turia's riverbed (the biggest park in town). Just a few minutes walk from the city´s most interesting cultural and architectural sights (Cathedral, Basilic, Plaza de la Reina, City Council Square, Barrio del Carmen...). The hostel is also well connected to the beach, the train station, the old city, the City of Arts and Sciencies and the best places to go out, from traditional 'tapas' bars to the hippest nightlife. The location couln't be better: we are between the commercial area and the bohemian district of 'El Carmen'.

The Purple Nest is the best place for backpackers to enjoy Valencia this summer. Don’t worry about the heat!! We are very close to different swimming pools in the city and just a few meters away from the bus stop to the beach, and in our hostel you won’t suffer the high temperatures from outside, thanks to our air conditioning system, which make the Purple Nest the most refreshing hostel in Valencia this summer!!

We have dorms with 4, 6, 8 and 10 beds and private rooms of 2, 3 and 4. All our big rooms are dorms: male, female or mixed. Big Clean communal (single sex) bathrooms are located on each floor. All our rooms have air-conditioning to help you sleep well during the hot Valencian summer.

Check-out time is at 11:00am and check-in is anytime after 1:00pm. If you arrive earlier, you can use our storage room and the commun area.

Our hostel has an easy, laidback atmosphere with warm and helpful staff on hand to help steer you to the beaches, bars, sites and sounds of Valencia and get you anything you need including free city maps and info and reservations for walking tours and bike rental.

Our Bar offers you the chance to meet people from all over the world, have a couple of the cheapest pints in town and enjoy the great atmosphere that the Valencian night produces.

People need to show a valid passport or ID(valid in Europe) at the check in.

We are not allowed to have any guest without passport. So there will be no check in if you don't show a valid identification (driving licences from the states are not valid in Europe).

Any actions suported to be illegal will be reported to the Spanish authorities.

OUR ACTIVITIES:

PAELLA & SANGRIA. Tuesday and Friday, you can come and learn how to cook an authentic “paella valenciana” on the Red Nest Terrace, you can enjoy it for only 3 € and we’ll make sure the sangria will be on us.

BEACH. Wednesday and Saturday at 12.30, a member of our staff will be waiting for you in reception to take you to the beach. Shade and cold beer are guaranteed!

MOJITO PARTY: Thursdays, from 10:00 p.m., come and try our fantastic Mojitos for only 3 €: don’t miss out on our Mojito Night party.
