Welcome to our nice guest house in Alterkuelz near the airport Frankfurt Hahn. We have a small family-run guest house pension in the beautiful area of Hunsrueck.

In our guest house you find a restaurant (breakfast for 6 euro or dinner), a beer garden and a smoking room. As the guest house is just 22km away from the airport Frankfurt Hahn, you are close but still can sleep very relaxed.

We offer the ideal conditions for leisure and stop-over guests, offering a pleasant atmosphere in a home-like surrounding. Children are very welcome, too.

Our recently refurbished, guest rooms offer a recreational overnight’s stay in the hotel-like house.

Here you can make your holiday! The price per person in the double room , with breakfast and dinner, for one week is 199,- €.

A quiet and rural holiday area which is definitely peaceful. Sleepy villages, old castles, mills and romantic valleys invite the hikers or cyclists.

Nowadays marked hiking routes will lead you to old mills, castles and deep gorges. The wild and romantic valleys of the Erbachklamm and Baybachtal are particulary interesting. The 38 kilometre long Schinderhannes cycling trail “Schinderhannesradweg“ , following the former tracks of the Hunsrück railway, is of particular interest. You can rent a bicycle near the house.

From the central Hunsrück the journey continuous to the romantic Rhine Valley-Rheintal between Bingen and Koblenz, in the Loreley valley-one of the most striking and beautiful landscapes of Europe, with more than 20 hilltop castles.

From here you can visit the third river area , the Mosel Region, whose character has been formed by its 2000 years old history.

The cities Kastellaun (approx. 5km) and Simmern (approx. 14km) invite you to a city-stroll. Here you can also swim, visit museums, or learn to know the castle Kastellaun .
