The Hotel is located in two buildings near teh famous Ponte delle Guglie, less than 10 minutes from the Station. World famous sights such as St. Mark's square, Rialto Bridge, he Sighs bridge can be reached with a short walk.
It´s very well located. In front of the Hotel there is a vaporetto´s station which gives the possibility to go to wherever we want very easily.
The hotel is very clean, and me and my girlfriend enjoyed so much the time we had there. There were TV and frigobar in our room.
It's realy a good choice for Venice, room very clean, good staff, and it's located in a very good central area, i thing they should chage photos!! it's much ,much better then it looks in the photos! i'll be back To Venice and to this Hotel.
Minuses: uninspiring crumbly old building, lots of stairs & no lift (not reccommended for anyone with poor mobility / young kids), Vaporetti sail past the front so expect loud horns every 15 mins from 5:30am onwards.
Plusses - quiet hotel (apart from the vaporetti!), clean rooms (good size for Venice), fresh towels etc every day, friendly helpful reception staff, fabulous location - within sight of Grande Canal, 5 mins walk from main train, bus & waterbus stations, accross the bridge from a major street full of shops, bars & restuarants and round the corner from a square with equally good choices, opposite Vaporetti stop so easy to get around Venice (although all major places ie. St. Mark's square etc are less than 1/2 hr walk through beautiful streets) very atmospheric canalside location for genuine Venice expereince.
Overall - great place for the price - myself and my girlfriend had a lovely romantic stay there which didn't break the bank - we would visit again!
