Room types
The Hostel is equipped with a double rooms with private bathroom, a twin and double rooms with shared bathrooms, a family rooms with four beds and multibeds rooms distributed over the three floors of the villa overlooking the lake. Dorms are divided between male and female use.
Location and surroundings
You can use the hostel as a base for excursions to Monte Rosa and the National Park of Val Grande, guided tours to the National Parks of devero and Vigil for boat trips to the Borromean Islands and the nearby town of Stresa. In addition, Switzerland is not so distant. You can reach it to give yourself a skiing among its ski resorts.

We went there during Haloween time, so if we except the young witches and freaks from the city who were meeting there during the day, the hostel was pretty empty. It was clean and it is located in a quiet and nice neighbourhood. We recommand it!
I definitely had a good experience with this hostel. It was ideal for simply a place to sleep while in Verbania and at a very good price as well.
Really nice hostel (and the only accomodation in the area for such kind of money). Good place to stay, lovely area. It's weird that there were no locks in the bathroom and toilets. Breakfast was fine and tasty, which is a big plus.
Complaint about the breakfast: It's the responsibility of the staff to indicate clearly what dishes are vegan and what are not. You don't, many doubts and traps here. If I can't eat here because of a simple principle of not wanting to harm animals, I don't call it an "included breakfast". I paid for others to kill animals. I'm angry about it. In 2023, many people do not want to unnecessarily harm animals. It's not a lot to ask to consider that. Not enough bread for everyone, no margarine. Lactose free yogurt from cow milk (oat yogurt are lactose free as well!), no indications on (as example) nut-paste, marmelade, (which can be vegan or not). Come on, it's not that hard to consider that. You are speciesist (ok, as society is), but you are also non inclusive and that is problematic. I request a discount for that. And I hope you'll correct this soon.
