Description: In the highest part of Valle Spluga lies a wonderful spot that certainly deserves to be rediscovered: it’s Teggiate, only 3 km far from Madesimo. Here an old roadman’s house was completely refurbished in order to host an hostel dedicated to mountain lovers, where you can finally breathe some clean free-of-pollution air in an amazing silence, just in front of a natural terrace that looks out on the valley and the mountains. The kitchen provides the opportunity for guests to enjoy both the half and the full board. In a country, warm atmosphere, guests can chose their accommodation in double rooms or in rooms with 4 beds. 6-bed rooms are also available for groups. In wintertime guests can enjoy Madesimo ski slopes, only a few minutes away from the hostel. The Casa delle Nevi Hostel provides a shuttle service from the hostel to the ski lift. In summertime you’ll have plenty of possibilities of excursions in the mountains towards Montespluga, Andossi or along the old Roman road of the “Cardinello
