In Casa Arapaima we have looked to create the kind of perfect place we want to stay when you're visiting a big, noisy, exciting city. At the end of the day we all look for a mellow place to unwind and exchange travel stories and philosophy over a beverage with fellow travelers and then get a great night sleep to be ready for the next days adventures!
Casa Arapaima is located in the south part of the exiting city of Medellín in Colombia, in the secret city of Sabaneta. This part of the city implies the jungle and countryside part of the country. You will be able to see the greenhills of the country and some rural, and urban local costumes.

All private rooms have high quality beds and bedding, closet with hangers, opening windows and shared bathrooms.
The dormitory room has five bunk beds, a bathroom and two opening windows.

Location and surroundings
Sabaneta is the secret gem of Medellin. It is set against a backdrop of green hills at the south of the city. To the north the entirety of Medellin unfolds and is easy and fast to access. To the south is ranch and jungle country and that flavor infuses Sabaneta. Horses are a common sight on neighborhood streets and the street cafes are usually full and buzzing with rural and urban locals enjoying each others company over a coffee and Aguardiente.
