About Globalhagen Hostel

Do you want to experience the real Copenhagen, whilst also supporting disadvantaged people from around the world? Globalhagen is an entirely unique, non-profit hostel where your accommodation costs go straight to the Danish NGO ‘ActionAid’. ActionAid supports projects in Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East, which are chosen by the volunteers who run the hostel themselves.
Think globally, stay locally; welcome to Globalhagen.

Supporting the world’s poorest people is only one reason why you should stay at Globalhagen. The hostel frequently hosts events; is located in Copenhagen’s liveliest neighbourhood: Nørrebro, and is also home to the volunteer-run Café Mellemrummet, a ‘hygge’ hangout for locals and travellers alike.

Really nice place. Good concept. The money goes to a fundation. A cafe-bar on the first floor to take a good coffee to start the day or a good beer to finsh it.
