'Lanka Hostels Colombo' opened its activities to very little, from March 2015. It is located 8 km from the center of the city, in a safe and quiet area.
The hostel has 4 rooms. 1 mixed dormitory room with 8 bunk beds, one room with 3 bunk beds for females and 1 Family room with 3 to 5 beds with en-suite bath room and 1 double deluxe room with en-suite bathroom. All rooms are air conditioned. Hot water available in every bathroom. FREE WIFI AND POOL FACILITY FOR ALL IN HOUSE GUESTS. GARDEN AND LARGE SPACE FOR CHILLING OUT.
Location and surroundings
Located 3.2 km from the city center, 50M from the galle road. 2 minute walk to the bus stop and 5 minutes to the railway station. Tuk Tuk service and many eateries all 24x7. Supermarkets, night clubs, fine dining restaurants, shopping malls, Spas, souvenir shops 5 minutes away. we have the most beautiful garden and the only hostel with a pool in the heart of Colombo.
The hostfather was really nice. He gave us many tips concerning our trip through sri lanka. He recommaned a really nice place for dinner in colombo and made us breakfast in the morning.
The hostel is quite clean. Its placed at Colombo 5. So you need about 20 min into town.
