OStellin is a new hostel in the heart of the immense historical center of Genoa: it is located in Vico Parmigiani, a few steps from the UNESCO heritage sites of Salita Santa Caterina and Via Garibaldi. It's an innovative concept based on responsible tourism, due to ethical and ecological choices.

Room types
Ostellin Genoa is a small hostel and has a total capacity of 25 beds: you can stay in a double room or in dormitories for 7 or 8 people (with bunk beds). Each room is equipped with bed linen, towels, individual reading lights, security lockers with padlock to keep your luggage. The historic building where the hostel is located has frescoed ceilings and floors in the Genoese grit, a class antique flavor that blends well with modern interiors.
Location and surroundings
OStellin Hostel is located a few steps from Salita Santa Caterina and Via Garibaldi, two thriving UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The hostel is right in the heart of the immense city's historic center and all the main tourist and cultural attractions of Genoa can be easily reached on foot. The hostel staff also organizes guided walking tours to discover the medieval Genoa, the modern Genoa and the most beautiful areas of Liguria Region.

OStellin Genoa Hostel guests have at their disposal a nice shared kitchen, a laundry room and a lounge room with TV, PCs and info desk about tourism in Genoa and Liguria. Every morning you will start your day with a delicious free breakfast prepared with lots of fresh products to choose from. In the building there's still an antique marble fireplace and original 4 meters high windows which give a beautiful light to the interior.

It was really a nice hostel. The staff is friendly. My recommendation is put a board or a sticker on the corner. So people can easily find the exact place.
Very nice guys at the reception, at least 2 out of 3, and great hospitality. Kids are welcome, I would encourage families to go there, although it is not clear if they pay or not. Location is perfect, very close to porto antico and downtown.
