The Surf Shack creates the perfect setting for meeting new & interesting people from all over the world. People that want to live out their passions for extreme sports, traveling and exploring the amazing places and adventures this beautiful city Cape Town, has to offer.
The Surf Shack is located close to Blouberg Beach, one of Cape Town' best spots for kite surfing. We are a perfect hostel for young travelers passionate of extreme sports and beach culture. Private rooms and shared dormitories available. Guest can relax in our swimming pool and chill-out lounge.

Location and surroundings
The Surf Shack – Surf House & Backpackers, is located in a sought after area close to various shops, restaurants, clubs and the kite surfing paradises of Blouberg beach and Big Bay (home of the Red Bull King of the Air world kite surfing competition).
There are various things that you can do, try out for the first time, lots of places you can explore and lots of adventures to find. We are a short drive from Table Mountain, the W&A Water Front and Cape Town harbor.
