Room types
Hostel has 5 rooms: four double rooms and one room for 8 persons. The family room can accommodate up to 4 people at the same time. All the rooms are very spacious and bright. Our guests do not only rest with comfort, but are immersed in the history of the great St. Petersburg due to location in an old house, luxurious chandeliers, high ceilings and inlaid floor.
Location and surroundings
Hostel 'Kot Begemot' is located in the center of Saint-Petersburg. On the Rubinsteina street each guest can choose a restaurant or café according to his preferences and abilities just in two-minute walk from. Nearby there is the magnificent promenade with view of the river Fontanka, Nevsky prospect and the legendary place – intersection of Zagorodny prospect, Razezjaja Lomonosovskaya and Rubinsteina streets, which is called “5 corners”. Windows overlook the charming and quiet courtyard.

We provide our guests with a lounge area, fully equipped kitchen, new furniture, yoga Hall with games, large and bright rooms, 2 toilets, 2 showers. We also have paid sauna and massage chair.
