We are group of international travels ourselves representing all four corners of the globe, so we understand your expectations and improve constantly.
The Antwerp Student Hostel is a brand new hostel located in Antwerp city centre within the university area. With student rooms, dorms and hostel rooms, it is ideal both for long and short stays in Antwerp: it's set to become a meeting point for international travelers in Antwerp.

Room types
In total, we have 70 rooms on 8 floors divided into 45 double/twin rooms & 25 dormitories. All accommodations have private showers/toilets including all dormitories.
All dorm rooms come equipped with the traditional style bunk beds with the exception of the 10-bed & 12-bed rooms where you will also find Japanese style pod-beds. If the pod-beds tickle your fancy, please don’t hesitate to drop us an email following your reservation for one of these rooms and let us know :)
Location and surroundings
The ASH is centrally located with the main shopping street (The Meir), and Antwerp's award winning train station (Centraal Station), being just a stone's throw away or a 8 min walk! In addition we are a 15 minute walk from such famous Antwerp attractions as The Mas Museum, The Cathedral of Our Lady, The Red Star Line Museum, The Grote Markt, Rubens House, Museum of Modern Art, Antwerp Zoo, Stadpark Antwerpen and De Koninck Brewery just to name a few….

A home away from home: The ASH is so much more than just another place to find accommodation: the hostel is a meeting point for different nationalities, cultures and backgrounds to socialize under one roof. The 100m2 communal area includes free high speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi, a state of the art communal kitchen, games area, sociable common room with an abundance of seating, a lovely garden (inclusive of a hostel bar during the summer months) and a charming library.

Very good hostel, on a nice location, with friendly staff
Lockers in the room are all broken, the faucet is too long so it doesn't fit the sink. So to speak it's easy to spilt water all around. Wall sockets are only at the lower place which is really inconvenient for people sleeping in the upper bunk.
Very nice staff, good location, big kitchen, library. 4 dishwashers. It looked as if people put their dishes dirty in, as the dishes were not cleaned well. The breakfast was not huge but good. The hostel disapointed me a little bit, still I think I will give it another try.
