Flying Monkey Backpackers is located right in the center of Cairns opposite of the Esplanade Lagoon where you can throw down a towel and enjoy the sun or go for a refreshing swim..

Also we have some great activities every day like Movie Monday, Free Pizza Tuesday, $3 Dinner Friday and more!
You will also be staying at the safest hostel in Cairns. Our hostel has only one entry, and is locked to outsiders. By night, one of our staff patrols the property to ensure your security.

We had a great time at the Flying Monkey Backpacker. It is the perfect location (close to the park, beach, city). The people at the hostel are very friendly and tried to make our time in Cairns perfect. The free breakfast in the morning was very good as well! All in all I can say we were really happy that we stayed there :)
