Location and surroundings
Excellent location, about 15 min. of walking distance from most of Istanbul's famous tourist attractions(old town) and from Sirkeci train station. The area around the hostel has endless number of bars and shops, the famous pedestrian street Istiklal street is just two minutes away.

There is a terrace where guests can relax and a lounge room with cable TV and free WiFi connection.

It was superb stay with highly commendable service and comfortable rooms.Very clean and staff were really helpful.
really helpful staff ! we had a double room (101) which was very nice. The only thing which was a little annoying was, that the bathroomfloor was under water once you got out of the shower (a little plumbing would fix it ;)
It feels like grandma's - in the best way. It's really cozy, the staff is great and helpful and the location is excellent! Although the main touristic sights are in Sultan Ahmed (the old town, easily reached by subway/train), Taksim is amazing! It's great to walk around, get lost on the little streets, get into original coffee places, have great turkish food, baths and shopping! And this hostel is great! The rooms are nice, breakfast is simple but very good and the common area is perfect to meet other travellers! I'm certainly coming back! OBS: Wi-Fi only works in the common area and the cleaning could be better!
