Room types
We have a total of 34 beds in 6 rooms, including female only rooms and family/private rooms. All rooms are newly decorated with opening windows. Fitted out with the traveller in mind, we have universal plug sockets next to every bed. Each of our full-sized solid pine beds is topped with a sprung mattress and finished with a layer of memory foam for extra comfort and relaxation. We provide FREE bed linen.
Location and surroundings
Shops, bars and restaurants surround Haggis Hostels in the New Town. A 5 minute walk across the North Bridge will lead you to the Royal Mile in Edinburgh’s historical Old Town, where you will find the impressive Edinburgh Castle. The Old and New towns together are a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site.

FREE hot showers and FREE use of computers with internet access. Lockers, towels, Wi-Fi, laundry service, snacks and drinks are available. Our kitchen and dining area features a full range of kitchenware as well as 2 integrated oven/hobs, 2 fridges, microwaves, toasters, kettles and washing-up areas. We also offer FREE breakfast, FREE tea and coffee and views of Princes Street in our kitchen. At our 24 hour reception, our friendly staff can give you advice on what to see and do in Edinburgh.
