Cat’s Hostel is THE youth hostel in Madrid, designed to cater to your every need. We provide everything our guests could ever want with clean, comfortable rooms in a great location. “Madrileños” are nicknamed “cats”, hence the name of the hostel, because they are always out and about during the day and especially during the night. There is so much to do here! Surrounded by excellent nightlife and the breathtaking monuments of one of the world’s greatest cities, Cat’s Hostel is the perfect place to stay.

Cat’s Hostel is located in a 17th century Spanish palace. Our beautiful patio in the center of the hostel is a great place to relax and spend time with friends. Don’t worry, all of the rooms were fully renovated in 2012 and are equipped with air conditioning units. With both small bedrooms with private bathrooms, and big dorms with either private or shared bathrooms, we have something for everyone. The rooms range in size from 4 to 14 beds.

We offer free breakfast every day, wifi, and some of the lowest prices in Madrid! Open 24 hours a day, Cat’s Hostel has no curfew. We also provide luggage storage, a laundry room, and a locker for each person in every room.

Not sure what to do in Madrid? We provide different activities each day for exploring the city. From free sightseeing tours, to pub crawls, to tapas tours, our staff can help you make the most of your stay in Madrid. Also, Cat’s Hostel is the only hostel in Madrid with a full service bar, called the Cat’s Cave. Each night, the Cave hosts different activities from karaoke, to Spanish classes, to fiestas. To top it off, on Saturday we have a “Paella Party,” a free dinner of our delicious paella.

Important Notes!

1.) If you are going to arrive later than 00:00—PLEASE, contact us by email to keep your reservation. Be aware that we have a 24 hour cancellation policy and you can CANCEL ONLY BY EMAIL, otherwise we will be charged the full amount of the first night.

2.) A 10€ deposit must be paid in cash upon arrival for the sheets and blanket. If you also want a towel, a 5€ deposit must also be paid. Both deposits will be returned to you when you check-out.

3.) Bookings of 10 people or more are considered GROUP bookings and must be made through the group reservation department by email. We reserve the right to cancel such reservation without refund.

4.) Groups of minors (people under 18) cannot share a room with others unless accompanied by an adult. If there is no adult in their group, they must reserve an entire room.
