This guest house offers cosy and airy rooms with TV and private bathroom, for a very reasonable price in the downtown of the city.
The triple rooms have one double bed and one single bed, with shared bathroom.
The place has been refurbished, but still have the precious Portuguese azulejos (mosaics), which you can find inside the rooms.
Location and surroundings
Royal Guesthouse is located in Lisbon centre, between the main squares Rossio and Praça do Comercio. As it is very well located, guests can reach all most remarkable landmarks by just taking a walk: Castelo de Sao Jorge, Sé Catedral, Santa Justa's Lift, and the historical and lively neighbourhoods Alfama and Bairro Alto.

Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was good, we even got one at 5.30am. Good location.
this is a very nice place to stay in Lissabon! Extremely nice staff, and a nice little kitchen to have breakfast (lots of breakfast) Large room that looked very good. Next to the old city centre, alfama, i would recoment this to anyone.
Really nice accomodation, great position to visit the city centre and really friendly staff! A+ for breakfast, everything cooked at the moment and incredibly tasteful.
Very nice and flexible staff and excellent breakfast until 12 pm. Location couldn't be better: metro station beside and a lot of attractions that you can visit on foot. The only problem is that the hostel is on the 4º floor and there is no elevator as this is the old city neighborhood. I had a hard time with my luggage. There isn't anybody at the hostel to help you out. I had to go out and pay someone on the street to carry my luggage.
I stayed there out of season as single fresh pensionado! The location is just around the corner of everything. The hostel is located on the third floor of a blok of houses and has ist own charm. The staf is very friendly and helpfull to find the nice places you want to visit. The breakfast is great and makes the start of every day Royal!
