Mt. Etna is definitely the most obvious place to visit. You can see it from the hostel windows and almost hear her voice inviting you.

The hostel is very very nice and CLEAN!Well organized,a little bit expensive if you want to use internet wireless(50 cent/half hour on their pc; 7 euro/7 days, or 2.5 Euro/day, wireless with your laptop). Really near the central Catania train station,and about 5/7 mins by feet from the centre (Piazza Duomo).Air conditioning is ok in every room,male bathroom really clean,two kitchen locations free for breakfast and 1 euro for lunch/dinner. When you arrive you pay immediatially,and they want about 15/20 euro more, for your costs, during your stay.If you have no more costs but your bedroom,they'll give you back at leaving. The mixed room is very cheap,clean,smart (as the entire hostel);it's about 15/18 euro/night. I'm Italian,I know in Sicily is not so simple to find a good hostel like this.

It was a really fun place and the staff was great.
Nice hostel, but I think it would be better if we had had kitchen to make our own meals. Breakfast not included in the price. Location near to the city center, but we found the neighborhood quite unpleasant and insecure. A lot of prostitutes around the hostel, not very safe for our car neither.
Very nice hostel in Catania with friendly owners! Rooms + kitchen are very clean and if you have a question on whatever you can always ask and will get a good hint. Thank you again for the very nice time in Catania!
