Room types
The Palace Hostel has 41 rooms with 2 bunked beds (4 beds), which can be used as either single- or bunker beds . All rooms are equipped with a bathroom, toilet, wardrobes, and a lock. Some of our rooms have direct access to the garden, some of them have a view of Vienna. Additionally all rooms have an electronic locking system, offering our guests even more comfort and security.
Location and surroundings
The Palace Hostel is set in the midst of a 12ha green park area overlooking the city of Vienna. Thus there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy and explore nature by foot or bike. In addition there are also a few typical Viennese restaurants, the Ottakringer open-air pool, observatory, look-out, and various sightseeing venues in close proximity of the hostel, all easily accessible by car, bike, foot, or public transport.

The Hostel has an indoor lounge room with table-soccer or board games, a children’s corner, and two terraces, where guests can relax, sunbathe, or enjoy their meals outside. To our sportier guests we offer a volleyball playground, a mini golf course, and the opportunity to hire nordic walking sticks and explore our beautiful surroundings. Internet free but very limited to browsing only using an unique locked access point, no way to connect my laptop. Power breakfast (available extra for a fee) not as advertised, low quality and missing components. Else everything ok as advertised.
It was great! It is a little far from the center but thr rooms and the view are wonderfull!
Hello, My name is Liliana Crăc and I made the reservation using a credit card owned by a member of our group, Vodislav Călin Corneliu. Staiyng at Palace Hostel was a great experience. Everithing was OK and the panorama was breathtacking. However, I think that the ideea with bunk beds in all rooms was not so good, especially for persons up to 40. Maibe you can provide a number of rooms with bunk beds, and other with double beds, even two of them , or triple beds. We will got to Viena again in december and I would like to stay in the same place, but few of ours friends dislike the ideea with bunk beds. We were pleased having free parching spaces and a well conected public transport network. Sincerly zours, Liliana Crăc

great hostel! seperate male and female, a little bit far from downtown but really great view of vienne. magnifique forest with snow and glace in winter.the price is raisonable as well.
