Chernivtsi is a beautiful city located in western Ukraine close to the Romanian and Moldovan borders.

Steeped in history, the city is known better for its prestigious university and the large market. Once part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The architecture is very much Austrian influenced. It is a perfect place to explore the parts of western Ukraine not usually visited by foreign tourists. We are the first hostel in Chernivtsi and strive the give our guests an interesting stay away from the expensive tourist cities like Lviv and Odessa. During the summer months we take guests camping to more remote mountain villages!
