Saint Michael hostel is an old convent located in Maasser el Shouf village, province of Mount Lebanon at a distance of 57 km from Beirut. The hostel is established in the center of the village, which is situated in the Shouf biosphere reserve. The Maasser el Shouf village is known for its rural and mountainous landscape, with terraced crops and a traditional architecture with stone houses and red tiled roofs
