Beschreibung: The Hostal Colibri is a longtime favorite of foreign visitors to Puyo. It is located just 3 blocks from the lively center of Puyo, a large town at the gateway to Ecuador´s Amazon region.

We have 8 nice rooms, for 1-4 people each, all with private baths and hot water, and all opening onto a large patio with plants and hammocks.

There´s a nice little restaurant with a fireplace and hammocks, where we offer great breakfasts, sandwiches, pizza and vegetarian meals, as well.

We offer internet (wireless and computer rental), cable TV, cheap international phone calls, and fast laundry service.

The hostal is owned by an American, former Peace Corps volunteer with several years´experience in Puyo.

We organize trips to Ecuador for groups and individuals, as well as daytrips from the hostal to farms, reserves, swimming rivers, etc. We have contacts in many organizations, and also provide logistical help with projects.
