Hostal Nomade - Hostel in Coquimbo, Chile

Hostal Nomade is located in Coquimbo city, just in the middle of the old town known as Barrio Ingles. 'Barrio Ingles' is famous for its nightlife and its stores, galleries and cultural performance.

Hostal Nomade's Mansion was built in 1850 and is well known for its fantastic architecture. At the end of the 19th century was the luxurious house of the French consul.

There, you will enjoy beautiful gardens and an expectacular view of the basin.

Staff is friendly, speaks English, French, Spanish and has long experience in the tourism industry as well as backpackeing around the world.

We provide nice clean beds (sheets and breafast included), free tourist information, games, library, internet access, kitchen facilities and loundry.

There is a good chance too, to be in one of our famous parties, barbeques or wood baked pizzas!

There are many places to visit in region. Most relevants are 'Valle del Elqui' (Elqui Valley), Fray Jorge Rain Forest, 'Isla Damas', 'Totoralillo Beach' and 'Andacollo mines'.

Those includes beaches, national parks, World Class Observatories, dolphins and much more.
