Old Town Zagreb is an apartment-style hostel in a baroque building, located in the historical centre of Zagreb. All major attractions, restaurants, clubs, the bus and the railway stations are within walking distance. The hostel was renovated during last winter in a croatian-japanese style.

We offer you a huge common room for you to relax with comfortable tatami space and satellite TV/DVD, free Wi-Fi internet, book reading area and air conditioning/central heating; and fully equipped kitchen.

We are not a usual rowdy hostel. We believe that wild party and binge drinking are not everyone's cup of tea... If you had enough of countless sleepless nights and can't put up with the usual hostel noise anymore, Old Town Zagreb is your ideal choice. We operate the Quiet policy from 11pm.

Accommodation Information

We have an elegant and huge private double room (japanese platform bed + sofa) and two bed dorm which can be used as private twin. Number of beds in the dorm varies according to the seasons.

Old Town Zagreb is located in the very heart of Zagreb, next to the busiest and most expensive residential and shopping street - Ilica Street. All Zagreb's main attractions are easily accessible on foot: Zrinjevac Park, Austro-Hungarian styled Ban Jelacic Square, neo-Gothic Cathedral on Kaptol, central food mecca - Dolac Market, vibrant Tkalciceva Street, Stone Gate, one of the shortest funiculars in the world to Gradec, St. Mark's Church, one of Europe's most innovative museums - Broken Relationships Museum, traditional Mimara Museum located in neo-Renaissance palace and Botanical Garden.

Tkalciceva Street and Flower Square offer a number of pubs and restaurants featuring Eastern European and Mediterranean cuisine. If you wish to visit an upscale restaurant or a pub we are glad to give you tips for dining out in Zagreb. 'Hostel Menu' is avaiable already from 35 kuna in a local Croatian pub, along with delicious homemade beer.

Zagreb by night hosts a number of clubs and late night bars. Pepermint on Ilica, Alkatraz in Preradoviceva, Purgeraj on Ribnjak, Hard Place in Subiceva, Aquarius on Lake Jarun and many others attract an eclectic crowd for everything from rockabilly to disco.

Organized day trips can be made to Northern Croatia (thermal springs, medieval castles, baroque Varazdin, Kumrovec - birthplace of Tito), UNESCO's World Heritage NP PLITVICE and Samobor.
