Villa Ducale is located in Dolo. In 1884 a Venetian nobleman by the name of Count Giulio Rocca, built a beautiful country villa on the banks of the River Brenta. The villa was built upon the ruins of an even older villa, erected in the eighteenth century.

The beautiful park that still remains contains statues, trimmed hedges, and its own delightful chapel that all date back to the original property. Villa Ducale is today one of the most prestige Hotels in the Venetian region. It is situated on the embankment of the famous 'Riviera del Brenta', a pictoresque place where the flowing river slowly beats time as it passes by the numerous historical venetian mansions.
