Hostel Suomenlinna - Ubytovna v Helsinky, Finsko

Our hostel is located on the Suomenlinna islands, only 15 minutes scenery ferry trip from the main market square, about 5 minutes walk from the city center.

This beautiful group of islands is a 250-year-old fortress and it is included in UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Suomenlinna is one of Finland’s most popular tourist attractions.

This cozy and clean hostel operates in an old school building from the beginning of the 20th century. It's located near the coast line in a beautiful neighborhood with wooden houses.

A different and relaxing atmosphere not far away from the busy city center of Helsinki!

Please note:

Our reception is open Mon-Sat 8-20.45, and Sundays 8-12 and 14-18. If you do not arrive when reception is open, please, inform us. If you don't, we are not responsible for keeping your room.

We have a self catering kitchen and a common room with TV and internet. Also there is a free wireless internet connection in our hostel. We provide laundry service for 3 euros.

Services on island

There is a market store, several restaurants, cafés and museums, art gallery, post office, artist workshop with a store, beach,summer theater, library, a church with lighthouse and a visitor center.

Please note that there is no cash machine or pharmacy on the island. You will be able to pay with a credit card in most of the places on the island.
