We're the newest Hostel & Hotel in Venice, ideally designed by backpackers for backpackers and divided in 2 buildings, the Hostel and the Hotel with one big meeting room where you can socialize with other travellers and make new friends.

At Hostel and Hotel Colombo there are private rooms for anyone who needs more privacy and dorm rooms for those who are on a budget. Great location and great prices even for Venice! Let's start with the location: it's 5 and a half minutes from Venice Mestre Train station (exit Marghera) so it's very convenient. All rooms are extremely clean and new, so no hassle! All rooms have air conditioning and private wc to guarantee comfort!

Why should you sleep by camping just because you are on a budget?? Just to save a little extra.. It's not true, you are not saving any money since the nearest camping site is miles away from Venice and you need to change 2 or 3 Buses to get to the City center... So stay with us, come to our reception (you can walk very easily from Venice Mestre Train station) and it's one stop by train or bus and you are in the city center of Venice!

CITY TAX (effective from 24th August, 2011 and not included in Hotel Rates, payable in cash)

High Season : 2.10 Euros per person per night (in the private room)

High Season : 1.40 Euros per person per night (in the shared room)

Low Season : 1.50 Euros per person per night (in the private room)

Low Season : 1.00 Euros per person per night (in the shared room)

(kids under 10 years old are tax free)

(boys/girls between 11 and 16 years old only pay 50% of the tax)

A very large supermarket is just 5 minutes walk away, a laundry is nearby, etc..etc...

!!!SPECIAL GROUP BOOKINGS POLICY!!!

For group bookings we will need the 50% of the balance, after the booking is confirmed.

The difference must be paid at least 14 days (2 weeks) before group arrival.

Please note that if you book a 'non refundable' room you must provide a valid credit card with enough money to cover the full amount of the booking! When the booking is made you'll be charged of a 10% deposit and right after you'll be charged of the 90% balance. If the provided credit card is not valid or if is not possible to charge the full amount the hotel will ask you to provide an alternative credit card within 24 hours. Otherwise the booking won't be guaranteed and the deposit lost.
