Watch all matches of the Mundial 2014 on a big screen in your hostel

Finally we are there - from June 12th to July 13th, we can enjoy the 64 matches of the FIFA World Cup 2014! If you cannot attend matches in Brazil, you don't have to stay at home and give up your holiday: HostelsClub.com found hostels where you can see theWorld Cup during your trip!

Amsterdam

Amsterdam is ready to host international visitors who would like to cheer on their favorite team. Hotel Old Quarter recently installed several TVs in the lobby and has a projector to show the world cup 2014 as well on a big white screen. Hotel International, too, has a big screen at the Irish Pub downstairs, and they will show the World Cup 2014 anytime. Stayokay Stadsdoelen & Stayokay Vondelpark have not only big screens in the bar where guests can follow the championship, but also free snacks during the games, special offers such as Pitcher Beer for only 10 EUR and free drinks when Holland scores! You might have to become a fan of the Netherlands!

London

Even if you can't make it to Brazil next month, you can catch the World Cup in London. You can watch all matches in the city at bars or pubs but, staying in Palmers Lodge Hillspring and Palmers Lodge Swiss, you will have access to the big screen TVs in the bar. They also they have a replica of the world cup trophy, so people can get pictures with it. You can also go to Fat Ronaldo's in Shoreditch, where are two HUGE screens with surround sound, samba bands, DJs, street food, Caipirinhas and the best party atmosphere even during matches such as England vs Italy!

Moscow

Moscow is also experiencing the football fever, and thousands of fans are ready to root for their teams! The Privet Hostels welcomes guests to watch all matches in a great company in the lounge area, with two large screens and a projector. Bear Hostel on Arbatskaya and Aero Hostel also have big TVs in the public areas and bars with cold beer and some wodka!

Zagreb

Croatia will have a ahrd time at the World Cup, and they have to face the Brazilian team in the opening match of the tournament. But hostels in Zagreb are ready to host football fans supporting their team: the Hostel Party has additional places to watch the World Cup 2014 and just installed a big projector in the hostel restaurant and terrace, and a big screen TV in the hostel's chill-out area. They will show all matches, and everyone is invited. There is a projector also at MyWayHostel, to watch the World Cup on a terrace. There is also free popcorn for all guests, and cheap beer throughout the world cup.

Berlin

Germany believes that this year it will take the cup home. Berlin welcomes all fans at Fanmeile on the Brandenburg gate and has many Public Viewing spots. But if you want to stay in a hostel, Wombats in Berlin will show all matches on a big screen in the bar, where you won't miss cold drinks and enjoy the view over the roofs of Berlin from the amazing terrace. Citystay Rosenstraße will also show all matches with a projector in the lobby. Pangea Hostel shows all matches on a big screen in the People Bar on the 6th floor, and has Happy Hour going on during all matches for hostel's guests, with cocktails for € 4,00 only and draft beer from 1,00 € (Please note, they do not show any games starting later than midnight). Berlin takes it very seriously with football, Generator Hostel in Berlin Mitte has a public viewing area in the inner courtyard with a kicker table there as well and drinks and BBQ. Odyssee Globetrotter Hostel supports the football world cup 2014 and will show the matches on screen in the separate event room.

Vienna

Even if Austria didn't made to Brazil this year, if you would like to spend a few days in Vienna from 12th June to the 13th of July you won’t miss any game! In the beer garden they have already prepared meat and cold beer, and most hostels moved out of the basement their big screen TVs. The best spots is the Wombats, with its WomBar. The Wombats Crew will welcome everybody, in an authentic backpackers atmosphere. You can relax on the terrace in the sunny weather. In the A&T Holiday Hostel you can see all the games in the Western-style bar in the hostel and enjoy the daily happy hour.

Athens

If you stay in Hotel Rio in the center of Athens, you will be in a very nice pedestrian street and have access to the hostel's pub, with two big screen TVs and one big projector, where all the matches of the World Cup will be projected. The Pub is open to watch the games not only for customers but also for all tourists in the city. With Greek and Italian food, beers, shots, happy hour and a hot atmosphere it will be the best place to enjoy all matches of the world Cup in Brazil!
