One of the most known traditional dishes in Spain are tapas: small plates, warm or cold, which are served in bars when you order wine or beer. You can get tortilla de patat, patatas bravas, jamon, gambas, olives or croquettes – many bars offer it for free in the afternoon. Each regional specialty is worth trying, since you will discover many different flavors. A great starter or meal for breakfast is Tortilla Espaniola, Spanish potato omelette, during summer you can refresh yourself by eating Gazpacho (cold tomato soup) and if you go to Valencia you have to try Paella there. The traditional version includes rice, chicken or rabbit, white and green beans.
