Sing and dance these tunes and you'll feel like you're in these amazing Australian locations.
1) I Am Oak - On Trees and Birds and Fire (Sam Feldt & Bloombox Remix)
Folk, indie and acoustic Dutch band I Am Oak released their single On Trees and Birds and Fire in 2010, however it is its remix by Sam Feldt & Bloombox that made it a 2014 success. The video shows Melbourne's trendiest bayside suburb, St Kilda, with its popular Luna Park and beachfront.
2) Coldplay - A Sky Full of Stars
The shooting of British alternative rock band's 2014 single A sky Full of Stars took place on King Street in Newtown, a suburb of Sydney. Chris Martin walks through Sydney's streets dressed as a one-man band, singing and playing until the band reunites into a square where paper-made stars are blowing and Sydneysiders dancing and jumping. Raise your hand if you wish you were in Newtown on that day!
3) The Darkness - Love is only a feeling
2003 Love is only a feeling music video for British rock band The Darkness was filmed on top of Flat Rock in Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains (NSW). All rock bands should be jealous of the location where The Darkness chose to play!
4) David Bowie - Let's dance
Let's Dance is David Bowie's 1983 song whose video was filmed in an Australian bar in north New South Wales and in the Warrumbungle National Park and Sydney skyline can also be seen. It features Bowie playing with his band in a local pub, where people drink and dance, wearing souvenir t-shirts of Australia. The video is also about Western cultural imperialism over Aborigines. Anyways, let's dance!
5) Redfoo - Let's Get Ridiculous
Let's Get Ridiculous is a song by American singer Redfoo, half of the duo LMFAO. Its music video was shot in Manly, a ferry ride away from Sydney. Manly, which is among Sydney’s most popular suburbs for its laid back character, has never looked more "ridiculous"!
Enjoy the videos and have a safe trip to Australia!
