About Skanstulls Hostel
Stay in Stockholm’s cultural area! As well as a great location, Skanstulls Hostel provides hassle free accommodation in a clean, relazing and friendly environment.
You will find Skanstulls Hostel in the district of Sofo, Sodermar: we are in the heart of Stockholm City, next to the metro station Skanstull. We provide private rooms and budget beds in shared dormitories. In-house library, fully equipped common kitchen for customers.

Room types
Our cozy rooms come with new and modern beds: there is a larger dorm with 12 beds at value for money rates or you can opt for smaller private rooms. All our rooms have nice and cozy standard. High cleanliness standard are a must: we make sure our guests sleeps in new and fresh sheets (you can rent them from us or bring yours). Separate showers with WC for men and women, lots of WC in the corridor.
Location and surroundings
Our hostel is located in the centre of Sofo which is known as Stockholm’s cultural midpoint with its restaurants, cozy cafes, galleries, music events, bars and odd boutiques. From here you are withing walking distance (among others) to Old City, The Globe, the royal castle and the nearby shopping area.
Services and facilities
Our guests can use FREE Internet (stationary computers and Wi-Fi), coffee/tea, some games, laundry, newspapers and magazines and free access to our homely kitchen equipped with stove, fridges and microwaves. You can eat breakfast with a discount at a nearby cafe - Or practice your chef-skills and cook a proper home-cooked meal in our kitchen! In our library you can find international books and also lend/switch your old book to a new.

This place was great. Very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were in an 8 person dorm room and it was a bit cramped. Free wireless was nice. It is only 100 m from the Metro station and within walking distance of old town.

The cleanest, most accommodating Hostel I have stayed in. VERY nice - I would recommend to anyone. Close to the train, money exchange and grocery.
I'm not exagerating saying that this the BEST hostel I've ever stayed in my life!!! Clean, well positioned (100 metres from the skanstull metro stop) and a friendly staff that you'll never meet anywhere else! I really enjoyed my staying in Stockoholm mostly for this reason!! And I will return as well! Book blindly, you'll be satisfied for sure! This hostel is simply FANTASTIC!! Non esagero nel dire che questo è il miglior ostello in cui sono stato! Posizionato bene (100 metri dalla fermata skanstull della metro), pulitissimo e con uno staff davvero amichevole pronto a risolvere qualsiasi tipo di problema! Il 50% del mio divertimento a Stoccolma è dipeso anche da questo! Ci ritornerò sicuramente! Prenotate tranquillamente ragazzi! Questo ostello è semplicemente FANTASTICO!!!
All in all no major complaints. I did not spend much time at the hostel other than sleeping. If you are just looking for a place to spend the night it is certainly acceptable.
