Location and surroundings
Pagration youth hostel is located in Pagrati, a nice neighbourhood of Athens, one of the best residential areas in the city. It is a very safe area and your security is further enhanced by cameras at the entrance and a residential manages.
Around the Hostel there are many cheap internet-cafes, supermarkets, cinemas, shopping centres,pharmacy(in the nex building), and a lovely street full of cafes, tavernas and bars which are popular with Athenians.

Guests can use the communal kitchen to prepare their own meals. A washing machine, dryer and hot water are available 24/7 for a charge, while valuables can be safely stored away in deposit boxes.

Very good place to spend a few nights for a very interesting price. We love our first night there and we came back at the end of our stay in Grece.The atmosphere is friendly. We'll return without any hesitation.
the hostel was a good worth for its money. The staff was really polite and helpful and had one of my best times of my life in Athens.
it was a bit cold,ask for more blankets.they hv a well equiped kitchen.
Cons: No air conditioner in all the rooms. It might get extremely hot during the night and the fans might not be enough. Women bathroom a bit dirty where you take shower. Men bathroom was fine, problem was only it could get a bit dark when taking shower during the night. Pros: Not so close but also not far from the main attractions (about 10-15 min walking). Located in an apparently good neighborhood. Available kitchen. Own key to come and go whenever you want. English speaking staff was very kind. Overall good stay and recommended hostel. We would go back. Observation: as stated, each time you shower, you must use a 50 cent coin for 7min of hot water. It's enough..
Good, cheap hostel. Super hot in the room with only one crappy fan not blowing on any of the beds. Have to get a tram or a 5 euro taxi to & from city centre. Shower is freezing if you don't put in 50 cents.
