Tell us about your trip and win a smartphone!

By creating a trip on MyClub, you could be in with a chance of winning a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Everybody loves to travel and share their travel experiences, and a smartphone is definitely something no 21st century traveller should be without - you can find directions or places when you are lost, take photos and videos, share information with friends and family, watch films, listen to music or play games whilst travelling, book hostels on our mobile site, you can even make phone calls!

HostelsClub is excited to announce a new competition offering five people the chance to win one of these little wonders called Android smartphones!

What do you have to do to win one of them?

Something simple and fun! All you have to do is create a trip on MyClub - HostelsClub’s very own social network - and share it with your friends. Let the best trip win!!!!!!!!

Prizes:

1st place trip wins the amazing Samsung Galaxy Nexus Smartphone, featuring Android 4.0, Face Unlock, Android Beam and a Super AMOLED 4.65” HD touch screen.

2nd place trip wins a HTC Sensation Smartphone, a dual-core Android, boasting a 4.3” HD touch screen and an 8Mpx camera.

3rd, 4th and 5th place each win a Samsung Galaxy Ace Smartphone, a smart-looking Android with 5Mpx camera and 3.5” touch screen.

Instructions:

1. Create an account with MyClub (or sign in with your facebook/twitter/google account).

2. Find 'My trips' icon on the left side of this page and click on it!

3. Choose 'Create a new trip'!

4. Give your trip a name, choose from-to dates of your trip, enter and confirm the location of your trip, save your trip... and voilà! Your trip was created and now the fun part begins!

5. Upload photos and videos to your trip, and add journal entries to inform your followers of what you got up to. We will be looking for the most complete trips, with lots of interesting content.

6. Once you are finished, to enter the competition you must share your trip with us:

a. Copy the URL address of your trip, e.g. http://www.hostelsclub.com/myclub2/en/trips/394/preview/Do-Gondolas-Dream-of-Electric-Sheep

b. Go to this competition note

c. Add a comment and paste the URL of your trip

7. To increase your chances of winning:

- “Share” the competition note, and ask your friends to “Like” your trip;

- invite your friends to join myclub by going to Myclub -> Account -> Social Networks -> Options -> Invite Friends;

- share your contents also on Facebook enabling the crossposting option by going to Myclub -> Account -> Social Networks -> Facebook Options -> Post to wall

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. The closing date for the contest is 6/01/2012, entries will not be accepted after 12:00 Midnight.

2. By submitting your entry, you agree to let HostelsClub use your trip (including pictures, videos and information) on HostelsClub's website for public viewing, and social media.

3. You must “like” HostelsClub’s faceboook page to participate and comment on the note.

4. To enter, you must be older than 16 years of age.

5. The contest will take place simultaneously on all our Facebook fan pages in which HostelsClub.com operates on Facebook.

6. The competition will be judged by a team at HostelsClub, largely based on the most interesting and complete trips, but also taking into consideration the number of “likes” a trip has.

7. HostelsClub.com reserves the right to cancel the comments that might be considered offensive or illegal.
