Parties, Beaches, and Tequila!

Mexico is a beautiful country that has delicious food, gorgeous beaches, many cacti, friendly people and is the best place to slam a tequila and dance with 'un hombre guapo' or for you guys to show your dance moves to the 'bonitas mujeres'!

Didn't know where you wanted to spend your summer this year? Well you will be convinced after reading this article cause Mexico is the place to be this summer!!

You can choose to party and chill in famous Cancun. Here you will mostly find resorts, white beaches and deep blue waters and of course lots of tortilla's, taco's, enchiladas and guacamole. Cancun is a real party place, where you can go to the clubs and bars till the early morning. Cancun however gives you an Americanized image of Mexico so the prices are higher than other parts of Mexico.

Would you like to stay in the same region, but like to both party but with a little more culture? Then go to the small island called Isla Mujeres. This is a tiny island where you can rent a golf car and cruise around the island. You can have a romantic lunch on the deserted beaches. Oh, and don't forget to make a visit to the turtle farm.

Another option is to go on a day trip to the island known as Cozumel. Cozumel is a snorkel paradise. Take the boat early morning and go snorkeling the whole day. You will see the most amazing types of fish. At the end of the day you take the boat back to Cancun.

Would you like to see more of Mexico than just Cancun, then travel to the North of Mexico. You can either take the bus and pass through Belize and Guatemala or take an inland flight which will be a lot faster.

Mexico city offers you a wide variation. You can choose to go shopping in the most modern shopping malls in the city. Taste the amazing authentic Mexican food or make a day trip to Teotihuacán, the incredible Pre-Columbian pyramids. These are about an hour bus ride from the city. Don't forget to bring your sneakers to be able to climb the pyramids!

Oaxaca is a lively city in the middle of Mexico. Stroll over the colorful markets where you can overwhelm yourself with lovely handmade crafts and souvenirs. The traditional kitchen is a must in this city.

Another must on your trip through Mexico is Palenque, the central place of the Mayan civilization. This is an incredible site where you can still find the remains of the Mayan people in a really good state. Their architecture and housing leaves you speechless.

Mexico is a very easy going country and once you enter the country you get a relaxed feeling that takes over you. The locals are very generous and patient with tourists, so the country is a perfect destination for all who are interested in the Mayan culture and the delicious Mexican food!
