FAQ/INFO ABOUT TOUR A 3 day 2 night trek, with Transfers from Marrakech to Ouirgane, and return transfers at the end of the Trek.Day 1: Ouirgane - Tassaouirgane. The trek starts from Marigha within an hour's drive from Marrakech. The walk starts along the Tizi Meloul past an old salt factory where people are still mining. Within an hour we will see the view to the Nfiss Gorge. Later we will cross the Ouirgane valley, walk to the village of Agouni and on to the village of Tassaouirgane via the beautiful valley of Azadene. The night will be spent in a Berber house which has a lovely traditional hammam, where you can get really clean! Day 2: Tassouirgane to Id Issa On the second day we head to the village Tinzert. Just a little further on we will stop for lunch in a beautiful open forest area. After lunch we join the track to IdIssa. This walk will take about 3h30 hours so we should arrive there at approximately 5:30pm and stay here for the night. Day 3: After our night in Tahliwine we will go down to the Azzadene river before climbing up the little stream towards Tizi Oudit (2100m), arriving at around 3pm to Aguerssiwal. There the transfer will be waiting to collect you and take you back to Marrakech. What is included: Transfers from Marrakech to the start of the Trek Accomodation each night. Full board with good food. English, french and Spanish speaking official guide. Transfers back to Marrakech at the end of the Trek. About your guide: Houssine, Atlas Mountain guide, originally from a Berber area, he worked as a muleteer for a long time with individuals and groups. In 2000 he graduated from the “Royal Moroccan Federation of Skiing and Mountaineering. In addition to his experience and knowledge in the Atlas Mountain, this diploma qualified him as a Mountain Guide, able to organize trips of all kinds around the Kingdom of Morocco for walkers & non-walkers. Houssine aims to introduce his own Berber culture to his customers as an old culture in the North Africa. Difficulty: Easy Availability: all year round Minimum of 2 people. Children aged 12 years or younger: 50% discount Children aged 5 years or younger: Free Special group pricing available - consult booking form for details Cancellations: All deposits are completely non refundable. Cancellations within 14 days of the service start date are charged 50% of the balance outstanding. Cancellations within 7 days of the service start date are charged at 100% of the outstanding balance. No shows will be charged at 120% of the outstanding balance. In the event of an incident or event which prevents you from joining the tour or travelling, we are happy to work with you to provide you with confirmations for your insurance company. Changes to reservations are possible, without penalty. If the change results in a different total reservation cost, you will be advised of any finanacial changes at that time.
